Help, the app does not detect when my TC is idling

For the Idle TC app to run properly, there are a couple prerequisites:

Please  ensure:
- Global Queue Items is ON in your AOE2 settings. You can find this option in the Interface menu in-game settings shown here

- AOE2 is running on your primary monitor
- The AOE2 resource toolbar must be located in the standard top left corner of the game(The app does not currently support mods that move the GUI toolbar to the middle and bottom of the screen, but will soon!)

If the app is still not detecting your Idle TC, check the Dev. Mode enable box in the app. The Dev. mode Check box creates x2 green search boxes on your main monitor. The first box should appear in the upper left and line up perfectly with your unit building queue. The second green box should appear in the upper middle, and line up with your unit population

The Idle TC Alert light works by checking for any Town Center research icons inside the 1st green bounding box. If no TC related icons are found, the USB light will turn RED, alerting you that your Town Center is sitting idle.

The green box size is generated by considering your monitor resolution, in-game GUI scale, Windows Display scale, and several common AOE2 mod. If the green box does not line up perfectly to your global queue as shown, please try:
- Disabling any AOE2 mods and restart both the game and the Idle TC app
- Change your windows Display scale to 100%.
- Confirm AOE2 is displaying on your primary monitorIf the green box is lined up to your global queue, but you are still not alerting, please look at the threshold value in the app to 76% and try again (see below FAQs)

what does the threshold value in the app mean?

The app works by constantly comparing screenshots of the greenbox to known Town Center research icons (Villiger, Loom, Town Watch, etc.). The threshold value is the certainty that one of the icons is presently inside the box. Therefore, lowering the threshold value would increase the likelihood for an alert, but may add false positives. We recommend starting at 79%. If you are still not detecting an Idle TC, try lowering to 76% and hitting apply.

help, my app is working but my button led is only stuck shining white.

This can sometimes happen if the USB is connected/disconnected several times quickly. We are working on a permanent fix but for now just follow the steps below to resolve.

1) Uninstall your Idle TC app from your PC
2) Connect your Idle TC USB light to your PC
3) Open your windows device manager, and uninstall all "Composite USB Devices" shown one at a time. (Windows will automatically reinstall them, see below)

4) Disconnect the Idle TC USB light from your PC
5) Redownload the latest Idle TC app version from the MS Store.

That’s it! Your light should be working again. The latest app version will prevent this error from occurring again. Please email idletowncenter@gmail.com for any other questions
